What we do:
* Review planning applications and offer comments to the council.
* Keep photographic records of town developments.
* Maintain an interest in important trees and hedgerows.
* Install commemorative plaques in places of historical significance.
* Make occasional visits to places of local interest.
* Circulate members with regular newsletters and invite their participation.
* Meet monthly at Queen Mary's College and invite guest speakers to talk on topical issues.
* Report on matters detrimental to the appearance and well-being of the town.
